Great day today! Had an incredible lunch meeting with Pastor Johnny. He is by far one of the most generous people I have ever met. I love his willingness to speak truth into my life. I have so much to learn, so many areas in which to grow, and I am very thankful to have someone like him to gain wisdom from.

Thank you Pastor Johnny and FBCW for your support and for your willingness to invest in my life personally and in the life of Freedom Church! You are a huge Godsend in my life! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Random Wednesday thoughts…

1. I think it is funny that we have tons of office furniture and no office. At this point even our workspace is portable (as long as we have a very large truck).
2. The search for office facilities begins today!
3. Two meetings today that I am very excited about. One is at lunch. The other is at dinner.
4. Our first church planter will be on staff from day one - getting ready to launch in 12-18 months.
5. The multi-site approach has endless possibilities…
6. Selling a house does not bring out the best in me when it comes to patience.
7. I ran in the woods yesterday - and all I could think about was trying not to be featured on an episode of CSI.
8. My ears hurt and feel like they are filled with juice.
9. Gary is lying when he says he will no longer watch 24.
10. I am praying for more right now than I have in my entire life!

We made it to GA in less than 6 hours for the 3rd time in a row. That makes me very happy.

I have been hanging out with Mark (aka - ole hayers) for the past few hours talking about the future of Freedom Church. I can’t wait to write about some of the ridiculous things we are asking and trusting God for in the very near future….

The vision is definitely expanding rapidly at this point in the game. Gotta love it!

Getting ready to head to GA for the next few days to attend some meetings, look for office space, etc.

Today, we will pick up the rest of the office furniture from NorthStar. When they said they were going to give us some stuff - they were not joking. This is the second trip we have made out there and we are going to have to rent a storage unit to hold everything. Thanks Mike!

Tomorrow afternoon I am going to lunch with my pastor, Johnny Hunt. I can’t wait! I learn from him everytime I am around him and he is a huge encouragement.

That is just the beginning of a great week, but it is not quite 5:30 AM and we are about to get on the road. More later.

Had a blast in Indiana! Getting home was much more uneventful than getting there as well.

Great people at Lifpointe. Woody is doing a great job with that church and I look forward to what God has in store.

By the way, I had this blueberry dessert when I got there that was made by a single guy. It was amazing! I have had some great food over the years especially since one of our best friends in the world is a chef - but this was right up there.

Found out yesterday that the deal on the house here in TN fell through. The other realtor took their time in letting us know this information causing the suspense to drag on for days. Back to square one as far as the housing situation goes.

I wanted to post this crazy person’s name so bad, but figure it might not be a good idea just in case she finds a real buyer.

With several people relocating to Acworth in the next several weeks - I have a favor to ask of the Atlanta readers.

We need a room for a young single guy to crash in for the summer. If you can help us out just email me to let me know. It will probably begin around the beginning of June and go through the beginning of August. Let me know and we can work through the details.

I very rarely post on Sunday morning, but this was pretty funny.

Ben, the 6 yr. old son of the family I am staying with in Indy just walked up to me and said “you don’t look like a pastor”. I asked him what a pastor “looks” like. He thought for a minute and said…You don’t have “pastor hair”.

Ben, for the record, I am very glad to know that I do not have “pastor hair”. I will do my best to keep that from ever happening.

I got to the airport yesterday to find out that my flight had been delayed for 4 hours!

After negotiating with everyone in the entire airport I found another flight that would get me to Indy 2 hours earlier than my next best option…

Not too bad. Al the airport man at Northwest is amazing. He hooked me up!

Getting ready to head to the airport in a few hours to fly to Indianapolis.

I am speaking at Lifepointe tomorrow morning and then hanging out for a few hours before heading back to Memphis.

If you have never been to Indianapolis before - it is a great city. Everytime I am there, something major is going on. Last time, it was the final four and this year - the Indy 500 is just around the corner. Always something happening in and around this city.
