Since there is a tennis court in my neighborhood - we have spent quite a bit of time out there. Here are a few things I have realized.

Knowing the right things to do and knowing the “perfect” place to hit the ball does not guarantee success on the court.

Knowledge is important - but it is only beneficial if partnered with execution. Knowledge minus execution and/or application is irrelevant.

We are praying for knowledge AND the ability to execute. Without both - we are done before we even get started.

As I sit in a coffee shop trying to get some stuff done, this is what I hear the people across the store saying (yelling)…

Click, Click, Click, I am a little chick.
My house is…like a mouse is…
I am merrier…than a terrier
A Clam…is what I am
Bump, Bump, Bump,….I am a camel with a hump
Pitter, Pitter, Patt…I walk like a cat (meow, meow, meow)

They just switched books to “The Cozy little Puppy”. I feel like I am at story time with some random little girl screaming at the top of her lungs. The mom is making “lizard faces” and wondering why I can’t stop looking at her and laughing.

I think I need to move to a different table…

Todd just told me that you can finance a pet (Dog, Cat, Parakeet, Goldfish, etc., etc.) at the pet store at Town Center Mall.

I think that is funny. I guess your dog would like that better than layaway.

Don’t you just love the people who have everything figured out!

I think that it’s interesting to run into people who seem to have all the answers. The question is irrelevant - because these people seem to have an answer for everything.

I think I might be like this sometimes; but the more I learn, the more I realize that I do not know.

Lately, I have been consumed with the reality that God is so much bigger than anything I can comprehend. He is bigger than my questions - and He is bigger than my “answers”. This is mind boggling and encouraging at the same time.

He really is in control - whether I understand it or not.

This weekend has been a blast.

1. Got to hang out with one of my best friends on the planet and the High School Pastor at Brookwood Church. The two million dollar building they are about to build for their teenagers is insane!

2. He just caught a Chick Fil-A sandwich on fire in the microwave because he didn’t take it out of the wrapper thing. Not a small fire - a big fire.

3. The radio interview was a lot of fun. Strange, but fun.

4. The vision luncheon happened today and it went very well. It was good to meet a lot of people that are connected to Todd and share a little about Freedom Church.

5. Bought a used car (very used). Don’t worry Sangl - we paid cash.

6. I will be able to give one of my other cars away to one of my favorite people on the planet. Kelsianne (and all the Regans) you are awesome! Woodstock High School will be a lot of fun, promise!

7. Since everyone else wrote about Gary’s announcement - I thought I would let everyone know that I am excited about it as well. Gary, the future is incredible in North Georgia!

Greenville happenings…

1. Saw Josh and Renae for the first time since last October. That is insane! Josh is big time now as the High School Pastor at Brookwood Church. He is doing an incredible job out there.

2. We ate at Southhouse restaurant. Most disgusting building on the planet, but the food is incredible.

3. Downtown Greenville is unreal! One of the best downtown areas in the country.

4. Josh thinks that there are golden mice statues all over the city - I think he is smoking crack.

5. We have to be at WLFJ tomorrow morning for our radio debut. Listening is probably not advised.

6. It is about 1:30AM and I am going to sleep.

Tomorrow morning Todd and I will be on “Christian Worldview Today”, a radio show in Greenville, SC. You will be able to listen online here from 8:15-9:00 AM. They have asked us for an interview to talk about the starting of Freedom Church in Acworth, GA.

Lexi is officially registered for Kindergarten. That is insane!

She met some of the administrators yesterday and walked them around the school talking the entire time.

This should be an interesting year. McCall Primary School will never be the same.
