The question has already been asked if we are serious about the fact that we are praying for $15,000 for our Overflow campaign that culminates on December 23rd! The answer is…YES!

I know that it’s a crazy high number for a launch team to give; however, we are all about praying “crazy” prayers to a God who is able to do infinitely more than we can imagine.

EM Bounds wrote, “It cannot be too often affirmed, that the primary need of the church isn’t persons of money, nor persons of brains, but persons of prayer.”

How do we develop a culture of generosity at Freedom? How do we see God do the impossible in Acworth and beyond? Pray daringly. Pray boldly. Pray!

We announced last night that we are going to take a HUGE step of faith as a launch team. Here’s the back story…

Freedom Church is and will continue to be passionate about generosity. It’s a value that we believe in and that we take very seriously. As a result, we are giving our launch team the opportunity to put their money where the mouth is.

On December 23rd, we are taking a one time gift offering called Overflow. Coming out of Malachi 3, we believe that God can be tested in the area of our finances. We believe that you can’t outgive God. Every time we give - He gives back in such a way that our sacrifice begins to pale in comparison.

That being said, we have a CRAZY goal in mind for December 23rd. How much? We are asking, begging, and believing God for $15,000 above our normal offering. This would make a huge statement and it will take a huge faith step from every single launch team partner if it is going to be a reality! I can’t wait to see how it all plays out and to hear all the stories of how God comes through!
