In the news…
The newspaper just called and asked if they could do a story on Freedom Church about start-up churches.
After much deliberation - we said YES!
The story should run on Saturday. Ill keep you posted.

After about 100 suggestions - we have finally decided on a name for the new truck.
From this day forward the truck will be affectionately known as…KENNY.
Because trucks are people too, we no longer load or unload the truck. We load and unload Kenny.
Much love to Pete Hixson! Pete, you should be getting a surprise in the mail over the next few weeks! You will treasure it forever!
2 commentsIncredible Journey
Today we talked about the fact that incredible journeys start with irreversible steps. Today, we took some irreversible steps in the right direction.
God has done some amazing things this week.
Here is the short version…
Even after the gift offering ($20,450) 3 weeks ago today, we still needed to raise $10,000 for our equipment. Last Monday, we received a HUGE blessing from a Generous church in the amount of, you guessed it, $10,000!
Then, after making all the purchases, we realized we still needed about $2,000 to complete everything. Two days later, we receivd a check from another Generous church for $2,000!
God has blessed beyond belief over the past several weeks. One truth has been realized - God gives the destination before he gives the details! The details come as you progress forward in the journey - and only after - you have taken an irreversible step!
2 commentsPractice Run
Today, the practice run went great! We had a really good crowd, people were excited and there was a good buzz in the air.
Everyone did a fantastic job and I am excited about the next couple of weeks. Should be fun!

5 commentsActivity
I can’t think of anything better than being on the journey that we are on right now!
I love seeing the activity of God - and we have seen it a ton - over the past several months. More specifically, we have seen it a ton in the past several days! I can’t wait to announce some of that stuff on Sunday!
Here’s the deal though. I think a ton of people miss out on the activity of God because they wait until every piece of the puzzle is together before they take their first step. If that’s the case, you are going to be waiting for a long time, because God doesn’t tend to work that way. Most of the time, we have to step into the water - before the river will part!
3 commentsHOA
I just went to my very first H.O.A meeting. That was an experience!
They had a full fledge argument about dues, landscaping, and I think someones feelings got hurt because they stormed out of the meeting. It was a combination of fun and misery.
If I ever mention wanting to be on the board of an H.O.A., just know that I am being coerced and threatened with a cheesegrater!

“Don’t just plant a church - transform a city!”
3 commentsAcworth
We get to deliver the remaining bicycles from Bikes Or Bust to McCall Primary School and Acworth Elementary in the morning. These are great schools and it is our privilege to partner with them!
Later that afternoon we will meet with some community leaders to discuss how FC can help with some of the things taking place in this great community. I am grateful for the fact that we have been invited to the table before we officially exist as a church. That is a privilege that we do not take lightly.
I am praying every day that our influence in this city will increase!
1 commentWe’re Back!
After an entire day of being way too distracted by the fear that Jrlive.net had been lost forever, I think we are back! We will still make a few changes here and there, but things are headed in the right direction.
Adam helped me out a ton to get this thing up and running. Go check him out. He is a church planter, but is very talented with web design as well.
