The D-Fat competition continues…7 teams of 2, $100 per team, and winner takes all.  Today is the first week’s weigh in and the results should be interesting!

There are a lot of times that it feels like our needs exceed our capacity for attainment.  I really struggle with this sometimes, but am realizing more and more that this is the reality in which I need to live. 

If I could pinpoint every detail of how I am going to attain the vision that God has put before me - it is not a large enough vision.  My prayer is that I will be comfortably uncomfortable in my pursuit of what God has called me to give my life to. 

This is much easier to write than it is to live.  I am not sure that it will ever get easier - and I am not sure that I want it to.

Paul Peterson came to hang out with us for a few hours this morning.  I love that guy!  

He has thought through church systems more than anyone I know prior to launching the church.  He came to ask us a few questions, but I definitely walked away from the conversation having received more than I had given. 

I am looking forward to “unexplainable” things from him and his team!

We have incredible volunteers at Freedom Church!  Here are a few of the details…

No matter how much or how little someone thinks they have to offer, God can take limited resources and uses them to produce limitless results!  Volunteer team at Freedom - I could not be more proud of you!  Thank You!

Face the Music kicked off in a big way this morning.  Even with over 15 of our people sick today, we had the largest crowd we have had since launch Sunday. 

It was a great start to the series and I can’t wait til next week.  Apologize will be a ton of fun!

By far the number one reason people are finding out about and coming to check out Freedom Church is because someone invited them.  I get emails every day from some random person asking what they should wear (this is the #1 question I’ve been asked)- because they are coming to check things out since Kristen, Ian, Eric or Theresa, etc. invited them… NOTHING can substitute for a personal invite.

 Great job to everyone spreading the word! Keep it up!

Sunday is two days away and I can’t wait…

Face the Music kicks off this week and it is going to be a blast.  I am not sure what the deal is, but it seems like it has been forever since last Sunday.  The best day of the week can’t get here soon enough!

In the process of setting up a blog to keep up with the D-Fat contestants and their progress or lack therof…

If you want in, we still have room for 5 more teams. Remember, its $50 per person, $100 per team and it doesn’t have to be given to me and Todd until May 1st :)  We will do weigh in’s every week, results will be posted for the world to see, and winners will split $1,000.
