Honest evaluation is an essential ingredient of improvement. 

I am passionate about moving forward.  For that reason, I crave honest input from those who are ahead of me.  Everyone needs it!  There is not a person alive today who has arrived.  Actually, I have found that those who seem to have it all together - feel that they have the furthest to go! 

As a result, I have several “improvement projects” taking place in my life…  What about you?

    This weekend I am paying, black-mailing, or dragging a few of my unchurched friends and their families to church. No, not for the typical reason. You see these friends have no interest in God what-so-ever. They don’t care who Jesus is, but they have something incredible to offer my ministry. An outsiders perspective on what we do and what it looks like through someone’s eyes the first time they walk in the building. I am giving them a list of questions to answer based on their experience and I will sit down Monday with our staff and discuss it.

    P.S. In case you know some of our staff, don’t spill the beans, it needs to be a surprise.
