Thoughts from yesterday…
1. Went to the doctor for the 1st time in forever….Results: sinusitus, bronchitus, and a double ear infection.
2. Found out that I have isms…This makes me laugh.
3. Gave out a ton of cookies again. I wish a church would have brought me some food…
4. I am ready for Sunday.
5. Duke/Carolina and 9:00 pm + a time change on Saturday = a VERY late night!
6. Friday Night Lights is coming back!
7. Some little kid threw a sword at me. It was plastic so I didn’t kick him ![]()
8. A bunch of Freedom people went and read books at an elementary school for a special thing they were having. Thank You!Â
9. Did I mention a time change on Saturday night? Move your clocks FORWARD!
Cards
When Lexi (5 yr. old) was born, I started doing something on the spur of the moment…
Anytime there is a holiday that requires a card (birthday, Vday, etc.), I always buy two. One to give right away and one that I will give much later. For example, when Lexi had her first Valentines day, I bought her a card to open immediately and a card that she would open on Vday as a 13 year old. The following year (2 years old), she would receive another card to open immediately and one to open on Vday as a 14 year old, etc., etc.
Not sure how it will end up, but it is very strange writing something to your “14,15, or 16 year old” daughter when she is just a little girl. I hate it actually, but I think it will be pretty cool down the road. I want them to know how much I love being their dad!Â
No punk boy can give my daugher a gift that will compare to something like this. If he does - I will kill him ![]()
Naked Gnarls
There’s a guy at our gym that consistently makes a point of being totally naked in front of as many people as possible.Â
He always walks to the shower wearing his towel, turns on the water, drops his towel, and stands around for a few minutes looking at the mirror. Not just looking at the mirror - but “looking” if you know what I mean.Â
Random blog I know - but I thought you would like to know…
Any funny gym stories out there?

Devin and I went out to Dolce last night for dinner. It was GREAT! Very cool atmosphere and the prices aren’t ridiculous.Â
If you are ever in Atlanta - then head to Atlantic Station and give this place a try.Â
You will love it!

1. Duke beat Carolina this week. Not much better than that!
2. Breathing is a rare commodity in my life right now…I despise sinus junk.
3. The Glade Rd. exit will be closed Sunday for construction…Use the 92 exit instead.Â
4.   If you don’t know what #3 means - no worries.Â
5.  I have gotten more Myspace messages in the past 3 days than I have in the past 3 months.Â
6.  Devin is making some crazy doughnut contraption for a baby shower tomorrow. If food can be sexy - than this thing would qualify.

My good friend and my former Student Pastor - turned church planter, Jeff Chandler, did the pre-game devotional thing for the Patriots tonight.  Even though they lost the game - how cool would that be!Â
Jeff started Southcrest Church and is doing a great job! I am pumped for him and a little jealous at the same time ![]()
Fun day…
1. Before our launch meeting, I spoke at a thing at First Woodstock for a few minutes. I almost had them ready to start wearing jeans :)                 Â
2. Last launch team meeting before we officially begin next Sunday. We had a big prayer/communion service and it went very well. It was good to just slow down a little bit and admit that we desperately need God!
3. Kenny (the big giant truck) doesn’t like the cold. Not even a little bit!
4. We brought a good bit of the launch team to First Woodstock last night. Pastor Johnny prayed for us and for the name of Christ to become famous in the city of Acworth!Â
5. I am not happy about the Packers losing.Â
6. 6 more days until Freedom!
3 commentsSnow!
Well unless something drastic changes, the HUGE snow event that had been predicted was a no-show.Â
Looking out the window right now, and if I collected every single flake of snow in the entire neighborhood - I could probably make at least half a snowball.Â
Oh well, maybe next time?

The snow has come - and the snow has gone.Â
School is not cancelled here so there will be a ton of very unhappy kids in the area. My five year old daughter, Lexi, will not be one of them. She loves school and was very excited to be able to go this morning. That is really strange!
Update::: Forget everything I just wrote. Once she found out there was no snow - she went into convulsions. I am not kidding as much as you think I am
American Idol
I absolutely LOVE the early rounds of American Idol!Â
It still isn’t over, but I have just heard the funniest line I have ever heard on TV. If you watched the show - you know exactly what I am talking about!
It makes me laugh every single time I think about it! You need to look it up right now!  “I wanna love a girl…”
